NCC Events (NCCE) has signed a five-year rolling contract with the NEC to keep the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show and the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the Birmingham based venue until 2021.
The shows, held in February and October respectively, are the UK’s largest and most prestigious leisure vehicle sales events. Both are among the top ten most visited exhibitions in the UK. The upcoming Motorhome and Caravan Show (17-22 October) occupies 11 halls and is expected to bring around 100,000 visitors to the NEC site.
John Lally, CEO of NCCE, said: “We are looking forward to continuing to work with the NEC for the next five years. No other venue can bring the flexibility and space we need to make our shows successful. This contract also provides NCCE with long-term certainty which results in more benefits than a shorter contract.
Managing Director of the NEC Group Conventions and Exhibitions, Kathryn James, said: “We are delighted that NCCE have chosen to stay with us until 2021. They bring almost 200,000 visitors and over 500 exhibitors with them each year, making them one of our largest organising customers.
