An update from the organiser:
Firstly, we hope you and your families are all managing to stay healthy and happy during these strange times. We have been monitoring the Covid-19 situation closely as we are sure you are all aware. There is finally some hope on the horizon with the approval and roll out of the vaccines and the goal now is to get everyone who wants it, immunized against this horrific illness by the end of the summer.
With that in mind, we don’t feel that running the show in May this year will be a viable option. We believe that the government will continue to maintain current restrictions with regards to large gatherings and events beyond May and towards the end of the summer. As we want to ensure we can put on the best show for everyone, visitors, exhibitors and sponsors alike, we want to be certain that we can reach maximum capacity at the show. We just don’t think we will be able to do that in May.
This whole situation has been very difficult for so many people and we really hope that Makers Central 2021 can be the light at the end of a very long tunnel. We have been in constant contact with the NEC and have come to the conclusion that the show has to be moved again for what we truly hope will be the final time. The new dates for the show are 7th & 8th August 2021.
We hope that the new dates will be suitable for all those of you who have already purchased tickets or booked stands, but if you are unable to make these new dates, please contact us as soon as possible on [email protected] and we will be able to advise you on your options.
These are unusual and uncertain times we are all living through, but we hope this announcement gives everyone enough time to make alternative travel and accommodation arrangements if required. Here’s hoping that the world will be in a far better place by August and we can finally all be together to enjoy Makers Central as it should be.
Take Care all & Stay Safe.
