Please note there is a full closure of the A45 in place will affect your journey to the NEC from 3rd to 7th August.
If you are planning on travelling along the Coventry Road (A45) to the east of the NEC, please note that there is a full closure in place from Stonebridge Island to Pickford Way Roundabout.
Please follow TfWM’s travel advice before travelling:
- Plan ahead and leave more time for your journey - If you travel in or around the A45 you will need to allow more time for your journey as diversions will be in place which may take longer than your usual journey.
- Where possible avoid using the A45 to access the NEC, as there is a full road closure in both directions and a subsequent diversion is in place.
- Think about your options: Consider using public transport. There are rail stations between Coventry and Birmingham International stations so please consider rail travel where possible. www.tfwm.org.uk
- If you are travelling locally, please consider using the bus. Please note that diversions will be in place.
- Check your bus route before you travel, bus routes may be affected by increased delay and/or re-routing. www.tfwm.org.uk
