New train strike dates have been announced by ASLEF Union which may affect travel to the NEC campus if travelling by train.
A full breakdown of which travel companies are affected on which day can be found below:
- Friday 5th April: Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway.
- Saturday 6th April: Chiltern Railways, Great Western Railway, Heathrow Express, LNER, Northern and TransPennine Express
- Monday 8th April – C2C, Gatwick Express, Greater Anglia, Great Northern, Southeastern, Southern, South Western Railway and Thameslink.
In addition, the above train operators will have an overtime ban from Thursday 4 April to Saturday 6 April, and from Monday 8th April to Tuesday 9th April. There is a heightened risk of short-term amendments or cancellations for Sunday 7th April.
