M42 Southbound will be reduced to two lanes between Junction 7-6 due to urgent damage caused by a vehicle striking a bridge.
Please allow plenty of time for your journey if travelling to the NEC by the M42 Southbound, as this may mean potentially lengthy delays while the damage is being repaired.
If using the M6 in either direction to visit the NEC, please consider leaving at Junction 4, and using A446 South and then A45 West to access our campus at M42 Junction 6.
