Eastway Closure

As part of ongoing HS2 works, Eastway will be closed to outbound traffic from 9:00am on 3 August until 3:30pm on 21 August 2026. 

• Inbound traffic from the M42 South will not be affected. 

• There will be no exit from the NEC via Eastway during this period. 

Leaving the NEC 

Due to the closure of the M42 Junction 6 northern bridge, access to the A45 and M42 South via Southway is also unavailable. 

• Traffic heading to all destinations except the M42 North should exit via Northway. 

• Please follow the signed diversion routes and allow extra time for your journey.
