For the first time ever, fans of the smash-hit BBC television show can become Gladiators contenders themselves - testing their speed, strength, and skill on the iconic challenges from the show. Launching at the NEC Birmingham from May 2026, the Gladiators Experience promises an unforgettable adventure. Visitors to the Gladiators Experience will have the opportunity to take on some of the most recognisable challenges from the iconic BBC television show. From testing their balance and grip on Hang Tough, to facing off in Duel, tackling The Wall, and completing the legendary Eliminator, participants will step into the role of a contender and put their physical ability to the test in an authentic recreation of the Gladiators arena.
The Gladiators Experience will combine exhilarating physical challenges and inspiring behind-the-scenes attractions suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether it’s a family day out, or friends challenging each other in friendly competition - there’s something for everyone. Away from the Arena action, a host of fun, family-friendly attractions will immerse fans in the world of Gladiators. The Vault will deliver an unmissable look behind the scenes of the nation’s favourite TV show, the Gladiator Training Facility will sharpen the skillset needed to be a true Gladiator, and a huge superstore will offer exclusive merchandise. With a number of other surprises along the way, Gladiators Experience promises to be a spectacle like no other!
Following the incredible resurgence of one of the UK’s most beloved franchises, this winter will also see the Gladiators Live Tour take on sold out arenas across the UK, launching in Liverpool this week followed by London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham. After fans have watched the action-packed show live before their eyes, they will now have a chance to take on the legendary events themselves at the Gladiators Experience from May 2026.

The Gladiators Experience is a collaboration between Live Nation, MGM & Flor-Jon Films Inc., who are the masterminds behind the large-scale immersive event which will span over 10,000 square metres at the NEC Birmingham. From authentic props and museum exhibits to innovative, low-touch physical activities, every corner has been crafted by Katapult and Patrick Doherty Design to bring the excitement of the iconic show to life.
