TCS&D’s Cold Chain Hub – the UK’s only dedicated event for the cold storage and distribution sector – will relocate to NEC Birmingham in 2024.
Taking place on 9th and 10th October, TCS&D’s Cold Chain Hub 2024 will showcase innovation from across the cold supply chain. The event will be organised by the team behind Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution Magazine, the UK’s leading publication for the temperature-controlled supply chain.
Martyn Cogan, organiser of Cold Chain Hub, said: “We’ve listened to feedback from exhibitors and visitors, telling us that our most recent event was too far south, so we have made the decision to move the event to the NEC in Birmingham. As well as being centrally located, the NEC has excellent road and rail links, easy access to Birmingham Airport and a huge hotel offering.”
With the theme of ‘Sustainability Solutions for the Cold Chain’, TCS&D’s Cold Chain Hub will showcase a diverse range of exhibitors – from cold store constructors, temperature-controlled operators and rental/contract hire specialists to suppliers of protective clothing, temperature-monitoring solutions and refrigerated vehicles.
A large outside area will also be available to accommodate the latest innovations in portable cold stores and refrigerated trailers, rigids and panel vans, including electric vehicles. In addition, TCS&D’s Cold Chain Hub 2024 will host the next meeting of the Women in Cold Chain initiative.
Martyn continued: “Moving TCS&D’s Cold Chain Hub to the NEC is a really exciting development. With a strategic location and extremely professional staff, we’re delighted to make the NEC our home - and the feedback we’ve received so far from industry colleagues has been brilliant.”
