We’re thrilled to confirm the NEC has won two Association of Event Organisers (AEO) excellence awards this year.
These awards showcase the amazing achievements from within our industry and this year were hosted by BAFTA winner and Peep Show talent, Robert Webb at Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London.
This year, we were shortlisted for four awards and won two:
Our versatile facilities, sophisticated customer insight, proven commitment to brilliant service and award-winning catering all featured heavily in our winning application for Venue of the Year.
Meanwhile, our Venue Team of the Year entry explained how our operations team help shows achieve things they simply can’t do at other venues – for example, working closely with the Fast & Furious Live production crew to help develop a ground-breaking array of don’t-try-this-at-home stunts – involving flying cars and setting fire to petrol tankers.
It’s hard to sum up our winning entries in a few paragraphs but the common thread running through all of them is a commitment to truly listening to our customers – whether that’s through a face-to-face or through cannily targeted data – and giving back brilliant and bespoke service.
