The NEC is hosting a range of big, inspiring shows at the start of the year, all geared towards encouraging people to take up a hobby and enjoy the outdoors.
Bunkered LIVE (18-20 February 2022)
Europe's premier golf show comes to the Birmingham NEC for the first time this February, a must-visit for golfers of all levels & handicaps. From free golf lessons to top tips on the latest golf gear to testing your golf skills or relaxing at the 19th hole.
Visitors can try for free the 32-bay indoor driving range, PGA golf lessons and the Junior golf zone. There will be a show theatre with top golf & celebrity guests plus fun golf challenges & show features.
Boatlife Live (17-20 February 2022)
New to the NEC, this is the first boat show of the year to kick off the season and get back on the water. The show's main attraction is the boats, with over 100 on display from Brig, Cranchi, Viko Yachts, Zodiac Ribs, Moomba, Fairline, Grand Ribs, Parker Boats, Supra Boats and Bayliner.
The Live stage is a main attraction at the show, presented by Mark Covell, Olympic Silver Medallist, offshore sailor, and commentator. Mark will be joined by a host of guests in an ‘on the sofa with’ relaxed style, giving visitors the chance to get up close and personal with guests. Yachtswomen Katie McCabe the 14-year-old record-breaker, will come with her 26ft wooden yacht named Falanda. In 2021, Katie embarked on a 14,000-mile odyssey to become the youngest person to sail solo around Britain.
Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show (22-27 February 2022)
The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show is back and promises to be bigger and better than ever. Come along to the UK’s biggest showcase of motorhomes, campervans, caravans, caravan holiday homes and luxury lodges. Plus, tents of all shapes and sizes, trailer tents and folding caravans all under one roof. A day’s visit will enable visitors to step inside and compare the new 2022 models from Adria, Auto-Sleepers, Auto-Trail, Bailey, Carthago, Chausson, Coachman Caravans, Elddis, Erwin Hymer Group UK, Knaus, Rapido, Rimor, Roller Team and many more.
Visitors can try stand up paddleboarding or kayaking on the custom-built indoor pool, learn basic climbing skills under expert supervision, be inspired to try new outdoor activities, visit new places and meet celebrity guests.
The National Outdoor Expo (19-20 March 2022)
Held in partnership with Ordnance Survey, The National Outdoor Expo is a utopia for outdoor enthusiasts. It provides the inspiration, kit, tech, nutrition and advice needed to get outside and get active.
The outdoors is for everyone and this Expo wants to help visitors discover the best Britain has to offer and the benefits that outdoor activity can bring. The show will host an abundance of exciting features including an Inspiration Stage and Outdoor Skills Theatre that will play host to industry experts including Ben Fogle, James Cracknell, Dwayne Fields, Bex Band, Jesse Dufton and Anna McNuff, imparting knowledge, inspiration and skills to visitors.
