Curium takes to the stage at NEC’s World of Learning Conference & Exhibition

An essential, one-stop event for anyone with high-level responsibility for learning and development, World of Learning 2019 is set to provide the perfect platform to learn from L&D experts and to explore the latest methods and solutions to deliver successful learning outcomes.

The renowned two-day conference boasts a programme of presentations from senior L&D professionals responsible for workplace learning at regional, national and global organisations.

Amongst the speaker line-up is Anne Clews, Head of Performance Learning at Birmingham based Curium Solutions, who will be sharing the results of Curium’s survey into leadership traits and attributes. Bringing together research data, case studies and her own experience of running leadership development programmes, she will be discussing how organisations can empower inclusive leaders so they can benefit from a more diverse and inclusive workplace.

Curium Solutions co-founder, James Farrow said: “We’ve found that people who are task and outcome focused are more likely to be in senior roles, as opposed to collaborative and consensual individuals. Leaders need to understand and empower diversity of personality, thinking and behaviour. We are all different. Successful leaders will harness the power of that diversity. World of Learning provides a brilliant platform to reach individuals, teams and organisations with a simple message: you will win by outlearning the competition.”

The session will take place in Theatre 2 11.15-11.45am on Wednesday 16th October – the second day of the event to be held at the NEC, and you can also pick up a copy of the research on the topic from stand G30.

Claire Cash, NEC Event Manager added: “The World Of Learning presents visitors with an opportunity to learn about what works in practice for leading organisations, and scrutinise the latest solutions and technologies in a highly interactive environment. The highly respected conference will also sit alongside an exhibition of over 100 L&D providers, so is an event not to be missed by L&D professionals in the West Midlands.”
