NEC Lakeside is a brand new free outdoor space at the heart of the NEC Campus, open every day from 9:30am until the end of August. Think outdoor cinema, children's activity trail, play area, garden games and great street food — all completely free, no tickets, no booking, just turn up. Part of the biggest summer the NEC has ever had, alongside Peppa Pig's Space Adventure, Titanic, Gladiators Experience, Tutankhamun and more. One campus, one incredible summer. Free. Open daily from 9:30am. Located next to Peppa Pig's Space Adventure
The Big Screen
Short intro plus a cinema listing showing the full schedule below. CBeebies runs all day Pull up a picnic blanket. The NEC Lakeside Big Screen is on all day, every day, completely free.
CBeebies runs from 9:30am, with a featured film screening at 2pm on selected days. From Paddington and Frozen 2 to Minecraft Movie, Coco and more — there's always something worth staying for.
No booking. No tickets. Just show up. day. Film screenings are in addition to this. Everything is FREE and we want that front and centre.
