Co-ordinating the build, parking and breakdown processes and services for all the exhibitors at a show is a complex piece of logistics and calls for careful co-ordination. Please help us make it all as efficient as possible for everyone by following these guidelines.
Once you arrive at the NEC please look for the digital signage which will direct you to the appropriate lorry / car park for your event.
Our aim is to make the build-up and breakdown processes as smooth and hassle free as possible for our exhibitors. These can be extremely busy times and we do our best to keep any delays to a minimum.

Exhibitor Parking Passes
The NEC provides each show organiser with a limited number of car park passes for their exhibitors. They give you free parking during the show’s open period. Please contact your organiser to find out more.
Exhibitor Advantage Parking
This new option, introduced to improve the NEC experience for exhibitors, provides you with guaranteed parking space at the rear of the halls - so you can arrive later or leave earlier.
Save 40%. Special offer price £30 per day (normally £50). Advanced bookings only.
Bookings must be for the entire duration of the show open period (not build or breakdown). Cars and people carriers only – sorry, no vans are allowed.
Once you’ve booked your Exhibitor Advantage space, we will send a pack to you containing your pass - which you’ll need to display in your vehicle. Exhibitor Advantage spaces are available for most shows and can be booked 3 months in advance. Please book early to avoid disappointment, as these spaces are limited.
Express Parking - £20 per day
Why not plan ahead and pre-book a guaranteed space in a designated NEC Express parking area, with only a short walk to the halls? You can arrive and depart at any time between 8am and 6.30pm, and if you’re planning on doing some shopping your car is nice and close - so you can drop your bags off and get back to the show. NEC Express is pre-bookable from approximately 3 months before the event up until midnight the day prior to the event.
If you choose to walk from the car parks, please follow the finger post signage to the halls.
Exhibitors’ Disabled Parking
Disabled parking for exhibitors is located in the designated car parks on both the Piazza and Atrium side of site. The parking area is fully signposted, close to the venue and shared with visitors.
Your Exhibitor ID badge, in conjunction with your Blue Badge, allows you to park in these areas free of charge.
Please note: there is no parking at the back of the hall, with the exception of Exhibitor Advantage.
We provide shelters and dedicated help points in our disabled car parks for visitors who are unaccompanied and require assistance. Simply press a button to ring through to the venue, and a porter service will take you to the Bartrams mobility collection point.
Please note: this service is only available during show opening times.
Team NEC operate a convenient shuttle bus service from the car parks to the venue during the open period of each show. They usually run from one hour before the event opens to one hour after the closing time. Please check the electronic signage at the bus stops for live information on service times.
The NEC is the UK’s best connected exhibition venue. We’re right at the heart of the motorway network, you can walk straight in from Birmingham International Rail Station and it’s a short, fast and free monorail ride from Birmingham Airport. The ultimate in convenience, for you and your visitors.
Some of the NEC’s on-site hotels offer a complimentary shuttle service to the halls. Please ask your hotel to see if they offer this service.
T.O.A black cabs are available at clearly marked ranks outside the NEC’s main entrances. They’re an easy and convenient way to get to your hotels and the towns and attractions around the NEC. And as one of our appointed suppliers, T.O.A Taxis are committed to providing a reliable, good value service to enhance your NEC experience.

T.O.A Taxis accept all major Credit Cards, subject to a processing charge of 10%+VAT.
