New images have been released, which reveal the shuttle service from the HS2 station into the NEC Campus, increasing the connectivity of our venue and delivering audiences to future shows like never before.
The shuttle service will operate every three minutes, providing a fast and frequent transport connection between HS2’s new interchange station through to Birmingham airport in just six minutes. The new automated people mover system will have an additional stop at the NEC Campus which will be located adjacent to Hall 1 offering organisers enhanced access to regional, national a international audiences.
Exact timelines are still being determined although the automated people mover will need to be operational when the HS2 line opens in 2026. We will be working closely with HS2 to develop their plans to bring this to life and ensure minimal impact to our business and customers.
