NEC's award-winning caterer, Amadeus, has increased its efforts in supporting NEC Sustain.
Amadeus has partnered with charitable scheme Olio, that connects volunteer ‘Food Waste Heroes’ with businesses to share un-used food with those in the community.
It forms part of the food strand of NEC Sustain - An all-encompassing sustainability programme that’s constantly growing and adapting to meet the needs of our changing world.
Over the last ten years the NEC and Amadeus have gone above and beyond the standard, looking at ways to make positive change and ultimately prevent food and drink wastage at the venue.
NEC Starbuck's Emma Thomas did the honour of handing over the first collection this week, which will go towards helping those in need in the Birmingham area.
