Complementing a host of major bike launches from the world’s leading manufacturers, household names including riders and commentators from key Championships including MotoGP, World and British Superbikes will be meeting visitors and unveiling the next generation of bikes. James Toseland, Troy Corser, Bradley Smith, John McGuinness, Charley Boorman and Steve Plater will be joined by Marco Melandri, Carl Fogarty, Jon Kirkham, Jonathon Rea and Leon Haslam to name but a few.
This year’s event welcomes the all new Off Road Zone situated in Hall 5 which will be dedicated to the very best from the off road world with the highlight being the opening two rounds of The Future West ACU British Supercross Championships. Taking place on Saturday 28 November and Saturday 05 December, the event will host the biggest names including defending SX1 and SX2 Champ Mike Brown, title challenger Zach Osborne and newly crowned Canadian MX1 Champion and double British Supercross Champion Colton Facciotti.
Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions, added: “The number of stars who have committed their time to attend this year’s Show has been overwhelming. The Show is often the only chance the public has to meet them so they are a key visitor attraction and with initiatives such as Get On! coupled with the new Off Road Zone and The Future West ACU British Supercross Championships, we have riders representing all facets of the motorcycle world”.*
The 2009 Show will offer an incredible selection of bikes, accessories and components with a range of interactive features including the Yamaha Off Road Experience and Karting and Mini-Motos, all of which will demonstrate to visitors of all ages what the industry has to offer.
