Bauer Media has chosen to launch its newest exhibition – Fleet Management Live – at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC), citing the venues location in the heart of the automotive sector as a key factor in its decision. The trade show will take place at the venue from 6-7 October.
Fleet Management Live aims to educate and inform both experienced and new fleet managers, with visitors benefitting from exceptional keynotes, briefings and product news. The show will provide a platform for suppliers, manufacturers and service providers to meet both the traditional fleet and transport managers along with fleet decision makers in HR, Procurement, Facilities and Finance.
The NEC is located within a three hour drive time of 75% of the UK population and has unrivalled connectivity by road, rail and air meaning the show organisers will be able to reach a national audience.
Chris Lester, Event Director for Bauer Media, said: “The Midlands is often described as the geographical and cultural heart of the automotive sector, so we knew we wanted to bring Fleet Management Live to the region. We have worked with the NEC before and we are confident that, with the support of the fantastic team at the venue, we will be able to deliver a successful launch show.”
David Gallagher, New Business Development Manager at the NEC, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Bauer Media back to the NEC for another great exhibition. Fleet Management Live is set to become one of the largest events in the Fleet calendar and we are delighted to be its host. Exhibitions that launch at the NEC have an average growth of 31% in year two, so we are sure that we can contribute to the events continued success.”
