Car park facilities can change depending upon the event and are available on a first come first serve basis.
Please phone 0121 780 4141 in advance for further information and to check whether there is a drop off point available near to the entrance.
North 1B (labelled ‘C’ on map)
There are approximately 241 standard bays in this car park.
Accessible car parking is within:
- 200 meters of Atrium 1 entrance
- 260 meters of Atrium 2 entrance
- 200 meters of Hall 17 entrance
To access Atrium 1 and 2 entrance, there is a ramp of 1:19 radiant.
To access Hall 17 entrance, there is a ramp of 1:10.5 radiant.
The car park surface is tarmac.
The car park does not have a height restriction barrier.
North 1 (labelled ‘D’ on map)
When North 1B is full, additional accessible car parking is available in the North 1 car park. This is located next to North 1B.
There are 435 dual lined spaces in this car park.
This car park is within:
- 300 meters of Atrium 1 entrance
- 360 meters of Atrium 2 entrance
- 330 meters of Hall 17 entrance
To access the entrances, there is ramp of 1:10.5 radiant.
The car park surface is tarmac.
The car park does not have a height restriction barrier.
Hall 17 Accessible Bays (labelled ‘B’ on map)
There are approximately 14 accessible bays located next to Hall 17.
Accessible car parking bars are within:
- 45 meters of Hall 17 entrance
- 120 meters of Atrium 1 entrance
- 80 meters of Atrium 2 entrance
The route is substantially level, via a pedestrian crossing.
A road crossing is required for parking nearest entrances Atrium 1 and 2.
The car park surface is tarmac.
The car park does not have a height restriction barrier.
Hall 16 Apron (labelled ‘A’ on map)
This car park is located outside Hall 16 and can accommodate up to 60 accessible spaces.
Accessible car parking bays are within:
- 80 meters of Atrium 2 entrance
- 100 meters of Hall 11 entrance
The route is substantially level and you are require to cross a road to locate the entrances.
The car park surface is tarmac.
The car park does not have a height restriction barrier.
Atrium Main Entrances

There are 3 main entrances into the Atrium, Atrium 1, 2, 3.
The entrances lead to a concourse, which is on a level surface.
Access from the Atrium to the Piazza via the Skywalk
- The skywalk is accessed by 42 steps, an escalator or standard lifts.
- The steps and the escalator are located next to Hall 9 Visitor and Business Centre.
- There are 4 lifts, which are located next to Hall 9 Visitor and Business Centre, by Hall 7, by Hall 6 and next to Atrium entrance 2.
- The skywalk is 376 meters long and there is a travelator running the length of it.
- Signage showing alternative lift locations are directly next to each lift.
- Signage shows the lift location of a 26 man lift located approximately 50 metres on the left before the end of the skywalk. This drops off between Martin’s Newsagents and Nat West Bank.
- An additional lift is located at the top of the escalators at the end of the skywalk which lands opposite Hall 4.

There are 11 accessible toilets within the Atrium area.
These are located at:
- 2 unisex toilets by Hall 11 main entrance – Left hand lateral transfer
- 2 unisex toilets by Hall 10 main entrance – Left hand lateral transfer
- 1 unisex toilet Outside Concourse Suite 1 – Left hand lateral transfer
- 1 unisex toilet Outside Concourse Suite 2 – Right hand lateral transfer
- 1 unisex toilet by Hall 8 main entrance – Left hand lateral transfer
- 2 unisex toilets by Hall 20 main entrance – Right hand lateral transfer.
The left hand cubicle houses a ‘Palma Vita’ automatic shower toilet providing flushing, washing and warm air drying from one simple operation. - 2 unisex toilets by Hall 18 main entrance – Right hand lateral transfer
The toilets are for the sole use of disabled people.
These toilets are unisex and do not require a key.
There is a functional emergency alarm available.
The doors on the toilets open outwards and lock via a twist lock.
Gallery
The Gallery is located on the 1st floor of the Atrium.
This floor is accessible by 42 steps and an escalator by Hall 9 Visitor and Business Centre.
The floor is also accessible by 4 lifts, which are located next to Hall 9 Visitor and Business Centre, by Hall 7, by Hall 6 and next to Atrium entrance 2.
There is one accessible toilet in The Gallery:
